1. About the platform of dual-authentication biometric identification card (abbreviated as "DABIC")
A.Composition and application principal
The platform of DABIC is made up of "dual-authentication biometric identification card", "DABIC reader" and "application software".
To use the system, first, the fingerprint and the personal information of card bearer shall be acquired through the software and DABIC reader and written into the Mifare card (CPU card). Thus the Mifare card becomes a DABIC with the fingerprint and personal information of the card bearer. In actual use, the DABIC reader will compare the fingerprint of user with that saved in the card, and only both the card and fingerprint match the saved data, can the card bearer pass the authentication.

2. About DABIC
A. Design principle and features
Once the fingerprint is added to the Mifare care (CPU card), the latter will integrate the functions related to fingerprint and non-touch smart card. Inside the card are 11 sectors, where information of great variety is saved. Each sector is controlled by a separate password defaulted when the card is issued. As all sectors don’t affect each other, one card can perform different functions. In addition, on the card surface, the bard codes and 2D codes can be printed, magnetic tape and pictures pasted, and character dies cast.

3. Reader of DABIC
The Reader of DABIC can acquire the fingerprint, generate the template, read and write the information in the card. At the time the card is issued, the Reader can acquire the fingerprint and write the information of fingerprint into the card. To read the information, the Reader can be separately used or the card is inserted into the terminal device (door access system, POS machine) for verifying the fingerprint and double authenticating the information in DABIC.
Based on the requirement of the users, this product can be attached with a software development kit (SDK), which can be embedded into the PC’s application software and realize the use of fingerprint card. The product can be extensively used in fields such as e-government systems, Internet access, online banks, distance education programs, ID authentication in financial fields, human resources departments, distance medical system, e-authentication, tickets for exhibition and information and inquiring fields.

A.Management software for D91 office door lock
Microsoft SQL Server employed for data management, large memory capacity and fast running;
Compatible Microsoft operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003;
User-friendly interfaces, optional OSD languages including simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and English, supporting synchronous query and card issuance with multiple computers;
Providing SDK (dynamic linkable data base) for the third-party development, and multi-language DEMO;
Embedded channel management; one system supports 15 channels with different names;
Management for employees’ shift arrangement, customized authorizations based on the time requirements;
Four options available for door access: smart card, fingerprint, card and fingerprint and card or fingerprint; customized door access based on the application occasion;
Software contains 16 types of cards and 28 types of authorization, fully satisfying the requirements on cards in office buildings.

-The fingerprint encryption device serves as a fingerprint acquisition instrument connected to PC via USB. Its fingerprint authentication replaces the traditional login through password in the door lock’s management software, assuring convenience, safety and promptness;

5. Terminal hardware of DABIC
Terminal hardware of DABIC includes door lock, door access system, storage box, elevator controller and S160 module. S160 module can also be embedded into other terminal devices which may require uniform management (like the passage brake machine)
With the extension platform combining DABIC, software and issuing device, DABIC can extend its application scope and help realize the one-card-through practice in government offices, corporate offices, schools, financial organizations and Internet access.
